Stauffer & Sons is a full-service general contractor and home builder based in Colorado Springs and serves the Pikes Peak Region and other mountain communities in Colorado. Founded in 1999, Stauffer & Sons has a decade of experience in all manners of building types, including residential, commercial and government/military structures. Our broad base of expertise has equipped us to tackle even the most challenging of projects, all the way from small residential remodels up to large-scale structures. We have a long term plan which is based on building on the many successful projects and satisfied customers we've worked with over the years. We began as a one-man shop and have since grown to accommodate the demand for high-end, one-of-a-kind projects. Andy Stauffer
President
Andy is the founder and president of Stauffer & Sons Construction. He holds a bachelor's degree from Humboldt State University in California. Andy has over 16 years experience in residential construction and has a passion for building and remodeling. While in College in Northern California, Andy began his construction career remodeling old Victorian homes; learning every trade from the ground up. This invaluable exposure to all phases of construction, including foundations, framing, plumbing, electrical, heating & AC, tile, trim, roofing, etc, has equipped Andy to truly be a "hands on" builder, able to grasp and manage every detail of a home's construction from an insiders perspective. Outside of work, Andy's passion is his family: his wife of 16 years, Yukie, and sons Andy-Boy (16), Patrick (15), and Curtis (13). Baseball occupies most of the family's time, including coaching, which Andy has done since the boys started Little League.
Mike Rice
Project Manager
Andy always says, "It was a great day that Mike Rice first walked on to my jobsite." And with good reason. Mike Rice joined Stauffer & Sons as a Project Manager in 2005 and has helped build the foundations of our success and reputation. Mike is also from California, and earned his business degree with great honor at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. Mike's primary motivation and passion is his faith in God and the blessings of his family, including his wife of 20 years, Denise, as well as sons Josh (17), Tyler (16) and Drew (12). Try to catch Mike in the Colorado Mountains on his mountain bike; if you can!
