True story: While in high school, Andy took a career placement test to see what kind of career path would fit him best and the results came back “Construction Company Owner.” So after going to college and earning a degree from Humboldt State University, he moved to Colorado Springs and started Stauffer & Sons Construction in 1999.

Andy is licensed in both residential and commercial construction, and over the years has worked on a wide variety of projects. Aside from building new homes, Andy has remodeled existing homes, renovated historic homes, built a houseboat, helped rebuild Colorado Springs’ historic Venetucci Farms, built the new Black Forest Pavilion after the Black Forest Fire, and helped restore the Cheyenne Lodge at the legendary Broadmoor Hotel.

Andy has been featured in Builder Magazine, Luxe Magazine, US News & World Report, Builder & Developer Magazine, NBC Nightly News, The Journal of Light Construction, the Colorado Springs Gazette, the Colorado Springs Business Journal, and Luxury Daily Magazine, among other media outlets and publications.
